Is East Lancs missing out on Funding?

Does the M6 mark an east-west divide over investment in Lancashire?

posing the following questions: Has Lancashire suffered an east-west divide for 50 years? Have areas west of the M6 had more investment and dominated decisions?

Has East Lancashire to the East of the M6, the M65 Corridor, lost out on funding?

If so, could an expected shake-up of councils in 2028 change future prospects or will SELRAP still miss out on funding?
