MEMBERS MEETING, 14th Sept, 7pm

Dear SELRAP supporter,
Following our AGM in Colne in March, SELRAP will be hosting a members’ meeting
at Herriots Hotel, Broughton Road, Skipton BD23 1RT (opposite Skipton train station)
on Monday 14 September at 7pm.
Please note, this is a change from the previously-advertised venue, Skipton Town Hall.
The executive committee will provide an update on progress over the summer and unveil details of some important initiatives planned for the autumn. These include a new tie-up with students at Craven College.
Our specialist guest speaker will be Theo Morgan Lundie, a PhD researcher at Lancaster University and experienced campaigner for sustainable and socially just public transport around the country. As part of his studies, Theo is exploring how Leeds University’s Inspiring Futures for Zero Carbon Mobility (INFUZE) project can be translated to more rural parts of the North West of England. He has a particular interest in engaging local communities in designing integrated transport systems and will discuss the tools SELRAP and others could use to engage local audiences, as yet unaware of the wider socio-economic benefits of reopening the Skipton-Colne Line.

The hotel bar will be open.
At this critical juncture in our efforts to get the line reopened, the executive committee looks forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the meeting.
We are very grateful for your continuing support.
A Zoom link will be available for those unable to attend in person:
