On BBC Politics NW on Sunday 28th June, Gina Dowding, in accepting that rail connectivity was the main driver for economic growth, urged Andy Burnham to not only improve and link North - South and East -West Rail connectivity with Northern Powerhouse Rail focussed on M/C but also not to forget other parts of the North which included confirming the "Green Party's support for the re-opening of the Colne to Skipton Railway".
