SELRAP Reps meet with Skipton MP

Meeting with Julian Smith MP  -Skipton and Ripon - Friday 28th March

  1. Peter Bryson, Chris Oakley and Phil Spencer on behalf of SELRAP attended Julian Smith's regular surgery, held in Skipton Town Hall.

  2. Julian was very engaged and very supportive.

  3. We handed over this briefing sheet (see attached) of the key issues.

  4. Julian promised to get another all party meeting together in Westminster - working with both Robbie Moore (MP for Keighley) & Jonathan Hinder (MP for Pendle)- hopefully before the summer recess.

  5. Julian also asked after Andy Shackleton. When we explained about Andy's disabling illness, he sent on his sympathies to him.

Before departing, we left a large wedge of SELRAP promotional leaflets in the Town Hall
