Two Memorial Events Remembering Derek Jennings

Saturday Sat 26 th  April 2025, starting at noon 

Unveiling of:

1. Memorial Plaque (Colne station)

2. Commemorative Bench (Brierfield station)

The timeline for the two events at Colne and Brierfield stations is as follows:

 12noon - 12.30 pm

 Dedication and Unveiling of the Plaque at Colne.

 12.30pm to 1.40pm

 Gather at nearby Crown Hotel, Colne, simply to chat over lunch.

 1.50pm

 Catch the train from Colne to Brierfield.

 2pm - 2.30pm

 Unveiling of the Bench at Brierfield station.

All those who knew Derek over his very long life

– friends, local resident’s members of SELRAP etc -

are all welcome to attend either or both events
