Dear SELRAP Member,
I am Derek Jennings, the newly (re) appointed Membership Secretary of the SELRAP campaign group. If you have any questions about your membership, including your annual renewal, then can you please send them to myself at No 3, Hamilton Road, Carr Hall, BARROWFORD, Lancashire, BB9 6DE. My e-mail is derek.jennings01@gmail.com
For personal reasons, Iain Hodgen has recently resigned from this role on the Committee and so can we please request that you DO NOT send any further correspondence or e-mails to Iain.
NEXT, may I inform you of a MEMBERS MEETING’ to take place on Monday evening, 9th September at 7pm in the Council Chamber of Colne Town Hall. (Entry to the building is via New Market Street in Colne). Please do come along and get all the “up to date information as to the progress, and where we are with our campaign”. We hope to have a ‘guest speaker’. The meeting is timed to close by 9 pm. If you prefer to join the Meeting on Zoom, please email Dave Penney at davepenney75@gmail.com and he will send you the link.
SELRAP’s magazine ‘At a Glance’ will shortly be ready for distribution and I shall send you TWO COPIES by post, one for yourself and one to pass on to a relative; friend or neighbour and try and persuade them to join our campaign. Members on email will receive a digital copy.
Also, may I remind/ask you that we still need more people to serve on our Executive Committee. We are specifically looking for help with administrative duties. If you are interested in serving on the Committee, please Email Dave Penney at davepenney75@gmail.com to discuss ways you can help SELRAP further its Campaign.
FINALLY, on behalf of the Committee can I thank you most sincerely for your continued support and interest in our campaign………………TOGETHER, WE CAN DO THIS!
(Re-open the 11 miles of railway between Colne and Skipton.) Yours sincerely,
Derek Jennings,
SELRAP Membership Secretary
